Mercedes-Benz Stadium Guide

🚇
Best Way to Get There
MARTA is the move. Take the train to SEC District Station — it's right at the front door. Only $2.50 each way. Parking exits after the show take 45+ minutes. Don't drive if you can help it.
🚗
Parking
20,000+ spaces within a 20-minute walk. 11 official lots. Pre-purchase required at parking.mercedesbenzstadium.com — don't wait until the day of. Mercedes-Benz owners park FREE in MB Lot (ParkMobile app).
📱
Rideshare Drop-Off
Uber/Lyft drop-off on Northside Drive in front of Georgia World Congress Center – Building C. After the show, exit Gate 1 heading north and follow signs. Budget extra wait time post-show — traffic is heavy.
🎟️
Tickets
Available on StubHub, Vivid Seats, and TicketNetwork. Atlanta has 2 nights — if one night is sold out, check the other. Prices vary between the two dates.
🌡️
November Weather
Atlanta in early November averages 50–65°F. It will be cool — bring a jacket for when you're waiting outside. The stadium is partially open air. Layers are smart.
🍽️
Pre-Show Dining
The Home Depot Backyard area outside the stadium has food and fan activities. For dinner, hit Castleberry Hill or Downtown Atlanta — both within walking distance of the MARTA station.
Big Tone · Concert Promoter
"Atlanta fans pre-game HARD. Arrive 2–3 hours early to absorb the full energy. The scene outside Mercedes-Benz Stadium before a sold-out show like this is worth showing up for. And leave when the encore starts if you want to beat traffic — or wait 30 minutes after the show ends."
DeShawn · Urban Market Specialist
"Atlanta crowds come DRESSED. This is a fashion event as much as a concert. The GWCC parking area before gates open is where the real pre-show happens — group photos, drip checks, vibes. Your girls trip moment starts in the parking lot."

Your Virtual Tour of Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Everything a first-timer or returning fan needs to know before they walk through those gates.

Big Tone · Concert Promoter
"I have worked events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Here is the real talk — the fans who have the best night are the ones who arrived knowing what to expect. This section is exactly that."

Before You Arrive

📱
Download Before You Go
Mercedes-Benz Stadium app has the interactive map, mobile food ordering, and real-time parking availability. Download it before you leave home — stadium cell service is spotty during peak hours. Also download your tickets to your phone wallet in advance.
Fly-Through Entry
Mercedes-Benz Stadium has Fly-Through Lanes at Gate 1, Gate 2, and North Club — facial recognition technology through Ticketmaster. If you verify your face on the app beforehand, you walk through like an airport PreCheck. Fastest entry in the stadium.
💳
Cashless Venue
Zero cash accepted anywhere — not at concessions, parking, or merchandise. Credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay only. If you only have cash, there are reverse ATMs at the stadium that convert cash to a prepaid card.
🚗
Parking Must Be Pre-Purchased
Parking is 100% pre-purchase only — no walk-up payment at lots. If you arrive without a digital parking pass, you will be turned away. Book at parking.mercedesbenzstadium.com or ParkHub before you leave home. Do it now.

Which Gate to Use

🚪
Gate 1 — North Side
Main entrance. Best for MARTA arrivals and rideshare. Home Depot Backyard is right here — the pre-game outdoor party zone. VIP Lounge access also starts at Gate 1. Box office is near Gate 1 if you need ticket help.
🚪
Gate 2 — East Side
Best for lower bowl east sideline sections. Shorter lines than Gate 1 for concert events. Fly-Through Lane available here.
🚇
MARTA Drop-Off
Exit at SEC District Station (Blue/Green Line) — this deposits you at the stadium's front door. Only $2.50 each way on the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app. This is the move. Post-show parking exits take 45+ minutes. MARTA doesn't.
📍
Rideshare Zones
Drop-off Zone 1: GWCC Bus Lane C on Northside Drive — best for Gate 1 (exit Gate 1 heading north). Zone 2: Broad St. between Trinity and Mitchell St. — best for Gates 2–4, also fastest post-show pickup.

Once You're Inside

🍔
Food & Drinks
Full-service restaurant Molly B's is inside. Stadium staples include Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q, Delia's Chicken Sausage, and Chick-fil-A. Craft beer rotating specials throughout — worth walking the concourse to find your pour. Mobile order on the app to skip lines.
🔋
Phone Charging
Wireless charging stations in the AT&T Perch (Sections 220–225) — free, first-come-first-served. Portable charger rental kiosks at Sections 102, 122, 229, 332, Mercedes-Benz Club, Delta Club, Gates 1 and 2. Bring your own cord just in case.
🚻
Restrooms Pro Tip
Go during the set — not at intermission. The minute the music stops, every bathroom in the building has a line. Best kept secret: club-level restrooms if you have club access are nearly always shorter. Suite-level restrooms are almost always empty.
📸
Best Photo Spots
Outside Gate 1 — the Telstar soccer ball statue is the iconic Mercedes-Benz Stadium photo op. Pre-show on the outdoor concourse east of the stadium. The Home Depot Backyard area for group photos before entering. The inside concourse has murals and public art throughout.
👀
Best Seats for Concerts
For concerts, the stage is typically at one end zone. Lower bowl sideline sections closest to the stage are the sweet spot — close enough to feel the energy, high enough to see the full production. Avoid end-zone sections directly behind the stage.
🚪
No Re-Entry
Once you exit the stadium, you cannot re-enter on the same ticket. Plan concessions and bathroom breaks inside. If you need to step outside during the show you will need an unused ticket for that day.

Leaving After the Show

Big Tone · Concert Promoter
"Two strategies for leaving MBS: leave during the encore (you miss the joint performance but beat 65,000 people to your car) OR wait 25–30 minutes after the show ends for the first wave of traffic to clear. Leaving immediately after the show is the worst option — you sit in traffic with everyone else for an hour."
🏃
Fastest Exit Strategy
For car: Exit Gate 1 heading north across the Home Depot Backyard bridge — fastest access to Northside Drive and I-75/85. If riding MARTA post-show: head to Vine City Station (closest, Blue/Green Line, transfer at Five Points) for faster departure than SEC District.
Rideshare After the Show
Surge pricing hits IMMEDIATELY after the show ends. Either request your Uber during the last song (before the show officially ends) OR walk 10–15 minutes away from the stadium before requesting — you'll get faster pickup and lower pricing. Zone 2 on Broad St. exits faster.

What Atlanta is Wearing

Atlanta is the fashion capital of the South. The bar is high. Here's the vibe.

Jasmine · Fashion Consultant
"Atlanta fans do NOT play when it comes to drip. November means you can do a long, sleek coat over your outfit. Fur trim. Boots. Jewel tones — deep burgundy, emerald, cobalt — look incredible under stadium lights. Grown and sexy with a winter edge."
