Your Virtual Tour of Bank of America Stadium

An open-air stadium in the middle of Uptown Charlotte. One of the most walkable stadium experiences on the entire R&B Tour. Here's your inside guide.

Before You Arrive

☀️
July Heat Warning
Bank of America Stadium has no roof. July 17 in Charlotte averages 85–92°F and humid. This is an open-air venue — the sun hits the lower bowl sections directly until evening. Wear the lightest breathable outfit possible. Bring a hand fan. Hydration is not optional.
🚇
CATS Light Rail
Take the LYNX Blue Line to Stonewall Station or Carson Station — both are a 4–5 minute walk to the stadium. Fare: $2.20 each way. Seven Park & Ride lots along the line offer free parking. This is the smartest way to arrive in Charlotte. No parking stress, no exit traffic.
🚗
Parking in Uptown
Over 30,000 spaces within a 10–15 minute walk of the stadium. Mint Street between Morehead and MLK regularly closes on event days — know alternate routes. Mint Street Parking Deck and Morehead Square Garage are popular options. Pre-purchase on SpotHero ($20–$40). Private Uptown garages farther away are cheaper and exit faster.
📍
Rideshare Drop-Off
Designated rideshare drop-off on Graham Street. Post-show pickup: walk a few blocks from the stadium before requesting — you'll cut your wait and often get cheaper surge pricing. The Brooklyn Village Station area is a cleaner rail alternative for many fans.

Pre-Show in Uptown Charlotte

Aaliyah · Culture Strategist
"Charlotte is the New Atlanta. Black professionals from Greensboro, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, and South Carolina are all driving in for this. The pre-show scene in Uptown is going to be LIVE. Hit the EpiCentre or 4th Ward for dinner. Rooftop bar photos before the show. Then walk to the stadium — you cannot beat that experience."

Inside the Stadium

👀
Best Concert Seats
Open-air means the Charlotte skyline is your backdrop — especially beautiful for evening shows. Lower bowl sideline sections closest to the stage are ideal. Upper deck sections 500s provide a panoramic view of both the stage and the Charlotte skyline at night — underrated option. Avoid corner sections behind the stage.
🍔
Food Options
Stadium has classic concert fare plus Carolina favorites. Panthers Lair on the corner of Mint and Morehead is a fan gathering spot outside the stadium. Inside, arrive early for shorter lines. Intermission lines at concessions can stretch 20+ minutes.
📸
Photo Spots
The Charlotte skyline backdrop behind the upper deck is stunning at sunset and after dark. Get your group photo outside the stadium before entry — Romare Bearden Park two blocks away on Mint Street is a beautiful pre-show photo location with city views.
🎟️
Box Office Hours
