However, Usher's Ultimate Meet & Greet VIP Package (added August 2026) does include artist participation with Usher. Is the R&B Tour VIP Package Worth It?

It depends on what you value. If you want a better seat, a pre-show experience, and exclusive merch - and you're going as a special occasion girls trip or birthday - VIP can absolutely be worth it. The lounge alone is a great way to start the night in style without fighting the general admission crowds.

If you're buying a standard tier hoping to meet Usher or Chris Brown, save your money. That's not what it delivers. The only official way to meet an artist on this tour is Usher's Ultimate Meet and Greet VIP package, which is sold separately. there's no Chris Brown equivalent.

Bottom line: VIP is worth it for the experience. it's not worth it if you're only buying it for artist access.

Groups celebrating something: a lounge gives you a place to meet up, use shorter restroom lines and take photos before the crowd arrives.
Fans who just want to be close: check whether the package actually improves your seat. Some tiers are mostly perks, not location.

VIP is usually not worth it if you plan to arrive right before the headliners, don't care about merch, or already have a great seat. In those cases the extras go unused.
